Capital University is situated in Koderma, Jharkhand. It was established by the Government of Jharkhand, making it a state-private university, in the year 2018. The university is recognised and approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Capital University offers diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate & PhD programs in a vast variety of streams such as Engineering, Management and Business Administration, Pharmacy, Medicine and Allied Sciences, Education, Hospitality and Tourism, Computer Application and IT, Law, Commerce, Sciences, Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences. The courses offered are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Bar Council of India (BCI). 

Capital University courses include B.A., B.Sc, B.B.A., B.Com (H), B.S.W., B.Tech, B.C.A., B.H.M., L.L.B., M.C.A., L.L.M., M.S.W., M.Com, M.Tech, M.B.A., M.A., M.Sc, and PhD. The fees and eligibility criteria vary from course to course. Before applying for admission, the candidates must meet the eligibility criteria. The admission process is both academic merit and entrance examination-based. For Capital University B.Tech admissions, students who have appeared in the JEE Main exam are given preference. The college accepts CUET-UG scores for admission to the undergraduate programmes. For MBA admissions, students must apply through CAT/MAT/XAT scores. 

The university has an active placement department as well. The University has state-of-the-art physical and academic infrastructure, with educated, learned and highly qualified faculty members. It covers an area of 32 acres of land surrounded by hills in a pollution-free, lush green and eco-friendly environment. The facilities here include a large library, an auditorium, hostels, a cafeteria, playgrounds with sports facilities, fully established infrastructure and labs.

Capital University, Koderma Location

Capital University is located at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Chowk, Chitragupt Nagar, Jhumri Telaiya in Jharkhand. It is a 5-minute (2 km) drive from Koderma railway station to the University. The nearest railway station is 'Koderma Junction railway station'. Koderma Junction station is connected to all metropolitan and sub-cities such as Delhi, Gaya, Ranchi, Patna and Puri. The nearest airport to the institution is the Gaya International Airport, Bodh Gaya. The airport is 104 km away and can be reached easily due to good road connectivity in and around the area.
