    About Central Agricultural University, Imphal

    CAU Imphal is a premier agricultural university in Northeast India. Central Agricultural University was established in 1993 under the Indian Parliament Act (No. 40) to provide education, research, and extension services in the field of agriculture and allied sciences. 

    CAU Imphal adheres to the standards set by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for the majority of its UG and PG programmes. CAU Imphal offers admissions to  UG courses,  PG courses and  PhD degree programmes like B.Sc, M.Sc, Ph.D, B.F.Sc, M.F.Sc, B.Tech, M.Tech, B.V.Sc, in the branches of agriculture, horticulture, fisheries, Community Science, Agricultural Engineering & Food Technology, and veterinary sciences & animal husbandry.
