24 MonthsMaster of Technology (M.Tech) in Soil and Water Conservation Engineering is a two-year full-time course offered by Central Agricultural University, Imphal, and approved by The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
The Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech. (Farm Machinery & Power Engineering) and M. Tech. (Soil and Water Conservation Engineering) programmes of the college/university must have a B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university with an OGPA of 6.00 out of 10.00 or an equivalent percentage of marks are eligible for admission to the master's Degree programmes. However, for admission to M. Tech. (Food Engineering) programmes of the college/university the candidate must have a B. Tech. in Agricultural Engineering/Food Process Engineering/Food Engineering/Food Technology from a recognized university with an OGPA of 6.00 out of 10.00 or an equivalent percentage of marks. SC/ST candidates with an OGPA of 5.50 in the Bachelor's degree shall be eligible for admission.
The Admission is Out of 5 seats sanctioned strength for each disciplines, 3 seats are to be filled through Entrance examination conducted by the University. Remaining 2 seats are filled through JRF examination conducted by ICAR.
