Central University of Odisha (CUO), Koraput was established in the year 2009 by the Parliament under the Central Universities Act, 2009. The campus spreads over 450.09 acres of land. CUO is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The university offers undergraduate (B.Ed), postgraduate (MBA, MA, M.Sc.), integrated and research (Ph.D., M.Phil) courses in various areas.
