CDLU Sirsa Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

CDLU Sirsa library is well-equipped with all newspapers, magazines, journals, books, and research materials. It provides a peaceful environment for the students to study and prepare for their examinations. The facility of e-books and e-journals through INFLIBNET and DELNET is also provided.

The University Computer Lab, UCC has been established on the top floor of Vivekananda Library to facilitate the research of scholars, students, and staff members as per their requirements. Help Desks for different purposes like Online Admission, Online Scholarship forms, training programs, and workshops are established in the Computer Lab occasionally. 

The University Health Centre provides the facilities of consultation, medicines, first-aid service & laboratory tests, etc. to students, employees & their dependents during the working hours of the University Health Centre free of cost.

CDLU Sirsa boys hostel namely Lajpat Rai Bhavan, and Sardar Patel Bhawan is equipped with all the necessary facilities and amenities, it has attached bathrooms, with comfortable beds, geyser, almirah, and hot and cold water facilities. The hostel mess runs on a cooperative basis.

The girls hostel of CDLU Sirsa is also equipped with facilities similar to that of the boys hostel. The warden’s residence is also located on campus. 

CDLU Sirsa auditorium is well equipped with all the necessary facilities. It has a total seat intake of 448 seats. 

The gym of CDLU Sirsa is located on-campus and can be accessed by the students during their idle time. It also has a gym trainer to guide the students.

Bank and ATM facilities are also available on-campus it allows for easy withdrawal of cash. Students can use the facility whenever they need money.

CDLU Sirsa has its own fleet of buses and cabs for the students coming from far-off places. Students can avail the bus or cab facility semester-wise.

CDLU Sirsa has department-specific laboratories, and students can use the laboratory to prepare for their examinations. A lab attendant is also available to guide the students during their practical examinations. 

The University campus is wi-fi to make it conducive for ICT.

CDLU Sirsa has a guest room for the family and peers of the students. It provides a comfortable and convenient environment for them to stay on campus.

CDLU Sirsa has indoor and outdoor sports facilities for the students. It has indoor and outdoor courts for prominent games such as football, cricket, lawn tennis and basketball.

The University has good networking for the alumni association. Three MoUs have been signed between the University and institutes of national/international repute, which helped in curriculum development, providing internship and on-the-job training and placement of the students, exchange, and development of faculty. The first meeting of the Alumni Association was held on May 25, 2014, which helped the University to keep track of the student's achievements in their career and their involvement in social activities.

CDLU Sirsa cafeteria serves nutritious and well-cooked meals. The snacks and lunch are available at an affordable price.

The convenience store of CDLU Sirsa has grocery items, utensils and other household items. Students can visit the convenience store to buy the things they want. 

The University has a Classroom facility for all students.
