Course Details

  • Mode: Full time
  • Duration: 5 Years

Bachelor of Architecture is five years full time course.

Architecture is both a discipline and profession. It plays a key role in shaping the built environment. Through the use of technology, architecture enables the creation of functional spaces that provide for people’s needs.

The B.Arch. Program will impart knowledge and skills required to design various types of buildings required for human habitation such as hospitals, schools, offices, residences, shops etc.

Architecture is sometimes referred to as the mother of all arts. It is a form of spatial art (that shapes spaces). However, technology related to structures, lighting, acoustics, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply and sanitation will have to be integrated into spatial design. By the same token, the visualised spaces must satisfy the physical and psychological needs of people.
