CMR University, Bangalore Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

CMR university offers admission in postgraduate diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses. Admission to PG diploma courses is given on merit basis. At undergraduate level, for admission in BTech and BArch programmes candidates need to appear for NATA and JEE Main/KCET/COMED-K/CMRUAT entrance examinations respectively. CMR University admission to BBA, BBA (H), BCA, BSc, BA (H), BCom and BCom (H) courses is done on the basis of marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. Students wishing to take admission in CMR University MBA Dual Specialisation programme candidates need a valid score MAT/CAT/PGCET/K-MAT/ATMA/CMRUAT examination. The university offers admission to MBA Executive programme on merit basis, but the candidates must have a minimum experience of 5 years in the industry.

As per CMRU admission process, only candidates with GATE/PGCET score are eligible for admission in Master of Technology (MTech) course. Candidates marks in bachelor degree are accepted for CMR University admissions in MSW, MCom and MSc programmes. The varsity also provides admission in doctoral level courses. CMR University admissions to PhD courses is done on the basis of CMRUET entrance exam conducted by the university. However, students who have UGC NET/CSIR NET-JRF/SET/SLET/GATE or have MPhil degree with an aggregate score of 55% or more are exempted from the entrance exam.

The varsity offers two PG diploma programmes - PG Diploma in Psycho Social Rehabilitation and PG Diploma in Psychometry. The duration of both courses is 1 year and are offered in regular mode.

• Prior to appearing for the entrance exam candidates must meet the eligibility criteria.

• Next, appear for the GATE/PGCET entrance examination and obtain a valid score.
