This university has a big library whose name is MS SWAMINATHAN which is India one of the top notch library for agricultural sciences and it opens for 24/7 during a week. Also this university has separate hostel for girls as well as boys the food of the hostel is also good and the fees of the mess is affordable, the classrooms have smart board and campus have open Wifi for every student, sports ground are also present for playing sports like Cricket Football Basketball etc .

I had completed my MSc in Agronomy from this university and my learning experience in Indian Agricultural Research Institute was very fabulous and amazing the professors of agronomy are very talented they are gold medalist in their specific subject also they are of very kind nature , overall the learning environment of IARI is great .

As IARI is India's no 1 university for agricultural sciences so many hiring company comes here for the placement purpose I can say that the placement record is good after your Masters in Agronomy you can easily get a package of 7 to 8 lakhs per annum which is a good package and some students they usually do not takes placement instead they start to prepare for some government jobs exams like UPSC Bank AFO etc .

Tution fees of IARI is very very low also the hostel fees of this university is very cheap the mess charge is very low and you can get various scholarships in this institute which makes this university a great choice

As a student of Indian Agricultural Research Institute New Delhi I can say that all the infrastructure of this university is amazing and top notch like the library is a very nice place it contains more than lakhs of books related to agricultural field, campus is fully Wifi covered, classroom of IARI has smart boards and classroom are air conditioned, Hostel is also present for every student in this university.

As a MSc Agronomy students you will enjoy studying here because in Agronomy you have to study many many crops likes it's diseases it's cropping pattern etc so in this university the professors are great they first teach you in the class and then they will take you to the agricultural field to gives you a live experiment related to crops disease and various things related to farming so the professors are very great and knowledgeable you will enjoy studying here

After your MSc Agronomy you can get placed in the private company that comes here for the placement, but many of my friends their main focus is to join as an AFO in the government banks and some main moto is to become a college professor so they start their PhD preparation

Fees structure is not very high also the University hostel is also very pocket friendly the mess charge is very low so do not worry about the fees and charges

For PhD in Agronomy the placement record is good many private companies comes here for the placement many students who are really very talented they get hired but most of the students their main focus after completing their PhD is to become an Assistant professor in some of the top government University of india so they mainly prepare for that government jobs exams

The cost of Hostel mess is very cheap and the tution fees of this university is very low also here as a PhD scholar you will get scholarship also so studying here is very cheap

I have studied Phd Plant Genetic Resources and I can say that our university is Number 1 university in ICAR Ranking on all most every year list that is why IARI Delhi is students first preference because this university is very excellent in terms of academics the university offers a wide range of subjects for the masters and PhD courses studying here is absolutely great the facilities are awesome and the faculty of teachers here are scientists who teaches the subject in a great way

I can say that placement is good in IARI Delhi i have done PhD in Plant Genetic Resources the average or minimum package offers here for a PhD scholar varies from 8 to 11 lakhs per annum and placement depends on country economy so sometimes it can be more than 11 lpa and sometimes like during pandemic of covid the average package offered was not much good as compared to today

IARI New Delhi has produced many reaserch scholar many scientists many new new discoveries has been done in the field of agricultural sciences this is possible because this university provides all the top level facilities to the students including The Library which was my favourite place because the library was very highly developed library you can get free computer laptop for your use university also provide a guest hostel for the family of the students of someone comes they can live in that hostel

IARI New Delhi is India top ranked University for the agricultural and allied sciences it was among the Top 1 rank of ICAR ranking list which comes every year the professors of this university are great scholars they themself had published many reaserch papers and they themself had done may reaserch experiments through which the students can gain some experience in their field of interest

For the placement I can say about my Background MSc Plant Genetic resources which has an average around 6 to 8 lakh per annum but some students can get more than that also if they are really very talented they can also get more than this also many students get placed after the post graduation and few students go for ICAR JRF and SRF exam preparation

Campus Live is good but many students here mainly focuses on their studies because they do not get much time but we do take part in many activities running in our university
