The Bachelors of Management Studies (BMS) at IIM Sirmaur aims to bring in the curious and dynamic students from across the country in their quest for knowledge. The programme further seeks to educate and train the students in the basics of management education. This will not only make the students industry ready but will also serve as the building blocks for higher education in various fields. Consequently, BMS programme is committed to make the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047 a reality. The students will be exposed to a host of courses ranging from basics of statistics, mathematics, principles of management, different functional areas of management, economics, communication, psychology, humanities & social sciences, sustainability, public policy etc. The programme will run over 8 semesters across 4 years. To provide international/industry exposure to the participants, international exchange/industry internship shall be planned for the entire 6 th semester. The students will also get hands on experience via live and capstone projects.The students will have an opportunity to be a part of the MBA programme of the institute. The student should have at least 8.0 CGPA at the successful completion of the BMS programme to get promoted to the MBA programme of the institute.
