IIT Palakkad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. Students are provided accommodation on a twin-sharing basis and all rooms have attached bathrooms. The hostels ensure comfortable living of the students by providing them all the modern amenities such as television, internet connectivity through Wi-FI and LAN, well-equipped twin-sharing rooms, study rooms, indoor games room, etc. Hot water is provided through solar heaters. The hostels also have a spacious dining area, heavy-duty washing machine, in-house facility for playing football, volleyball, basketball and table tennis.

The Chandra is a high-performance computing cluster (HPC) that provides a powerful computing platform for engineering and physical science research. The HPC is made up of 64 compute nodes, each of which is equipped with a twin 12-core Intel processor. Each CPU has a clock speed of 2.2 GHz and 4 GB of RAM.
