72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Food Technology is six years program offered by School of Interdisciplinary Sciences and Technology at the Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.
Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates having passed M.Tech. (food Tech/ Biotech) or M.Sc. (Food Science/Technology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry) or M. Pharma (Pharmaceutics/ Pharmacognosy/Phytochemistry/ Pharma Biotech) with minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University/ Institute.
Admission Details
NET-JRF/ Individual Fellowship holders/Project Fellows will be preferred for admission in the Ph.D.programs.

College Infrastructure
Jamia humdard infrastructure and facilities are very good the classrooms and labs are in a good condition and well maintain the library is air conditioned, there are many canteens available in our university and it offers wide range of food items also the food is pocket friendly , in Jamia there is 24/7 medical facilities are available if any student get sick they can use that service, sports ground is also present for different different sports, hostel facilities is also present.
