About KNRUHS Warangal
KNRUHS - The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) was established after the formation of the State of Telangana by adopting the Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences Act on September 26, 2014. KNRUHS is headquartered at Warangal. KNRUHS has been established to have uniform policies of admissions, curriculum, examinations, and to encourage research in Health Sciences thereby achieving the goal of improvement of healthcare delivery to the people of Telangana State.
After the all necessary approvals obtained from the Medical Council of India (MCI), Dental Council of India (DCI), Central Council for Indian Medicine, Central Council of Homeopathy, and Indian Nursing Council, KNRUHS started functioning from the academic year 2016-17 from a small Kakatiya Medical College campus. Affiliated University under KNRUHS offers Under Graduate, Post Graduate, Super Specialty, Doctoral and Postdoctoral Courses in Allopathy (Modern Medicine), Dental Surgery, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy, and Unani, Para-Medical Courses. The total number of colleges affiliated to the KNRUHS is 163.
