MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS) was established in the year 2001; it owns the status of Private Medical College located at, Ghanpur Village, Medchal Mandal, Telangana. The Medical Institute of Max Mueller is recognized by NMC and is affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) which provides several undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses. The expansive 40 acre campus of the institute has an authorized sanctioned intake of direct admission undergraduate students of 867 and postgraduate faculty of 192. Currently, MIMS has provided 19 courses in 3 programmes and focuses on extensive medical fields. It is recognised for its over-arching medical school, facility Frontiers, productive innovations, and trainee graduates Health Care highly motivated.

At MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences Medchal, many types of the facility are offered to make an academic and personal development of the students. The available facilities include compact and well-equipped class rooms, and several laboratory rooms that help to enhance learning. The college has a large hospital which provides practical experience to students to practice. The institute has a well stacked Medical library that supports the research study needs of students and faculty. Accommodation for students is also provided since the institution has hostel facilities to enhance students comfort. MIMS also supports physical exercises and other sporting activities as well as skills acquired outside class. It has a health center as a first aid place for all the people in the institute’s campus. Degree programmes offered in the Institute include MBBS at undergraduate level and MD & MS at postgraduate level in multitude of specialisations. 19 courses are offered in full time study mode. Considering the MBBS the intakes are still approved at 150; for other post graduate courses, intakes are different ranging from 2, 4, 8 and 16 for different specialization respectively. The total access to students in all courses offered is 867, this is in light of the impact that this institute has made in offering medical courses in the region. As for the graduation data of the latest year, it is rather difficult to provide it, however, MIMS constantly provides the qualified staff of the medical field.

The admission process of MIMS Medchal is undertaken following norms defined by regulatory authority and is based on merit. For the MBBS programme, there are admissions through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test only, known as NEET-UG. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate adiposity or NEET-PG is used to determine postgraduate admittance for MD and MS courses. These nationally accredited entrance examination are accepted in the institute to provide a fair competition for the admission.
