B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Khalsa University, Amritsar Offline Course

All those candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination from a board recognized or established by Central/State Government through a legislation with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry* / Computer Science / Electronics/Information Technology/Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology / Technical Vocational subject / Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/Business Studies/ Entrepreneurship.

*Chemistry is mandatory 3rd Subject for B.Tech. Civil Engg., Mechanical Engg. & Chemical Engg. Courses

II) Candidates must secure a minimum 45% (40% in case of SC/ST category) aggregate marks in their qualifying examination. Preference shall be given to Candidates with JEE Main/Advance score OR Those candidates who have passed minimum 03 years Diploma examination from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal (SLIET), or any such examination from any other recognized State Board of Technical Education with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted. (Suitable bridge courses will be offered, such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to prepare a level playing field and desired learning outcomes of the programme)
