36 MonthsThe Ph.D. program in Botany shall be for a minimum duration of three years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned and offered by the Khalsa University, Amritsar.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate has passed a Master's degree in a relevant discipline with at least 55% marks in aggregate, with a relaxation of 5% marks for those belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other categories of candidates as per the decision of the Commission from time to time.
