M.P.Ed at Kurukshetra University Offline Course

A person who has passed one of the following examinations shall be eligible to join the course,

• DPED/BPED one year course after graduation with at least 50 % marks in aggregate;
• BA with Health and Physical Education as one of the subjects in the 3-year degree course with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
• B.A./ B.Sc/ B.Com/ B.Sc (Physical Education, Health Education and sports) / B.P.E (Three year degree) /D.P.Ed/ B.P.Ed (one year) / B.A. with Health and Physical Education of this University or any examination equivalent thereto with at least 45% marks in the aggregate and having passed English as one of the subjects. Provided further that he/she should have won I^st 2^nd 3^rd. position at All India Inter-University/ National Level Tournament after passing +2^th Examination.

Note:

• Provided that a candidate who has not participated at least in the inter-State /Inter-varsity / National Tournaments in recognized games organized by the AIU from time to time shall not be eligible for admission and further no Sports /Games certificate will be considered for admission without its graduation certificate issued from the Director Sports for the State Government concerned / Director Sports of the University Concerned (only in case of interuniversity participation and A.I.U position).
• Provided further that all the eligible candidates of M.P.Ed will be required to qualify the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). However, the criteria and specification of the individual events of the Candian Test will be decided by the Department of Physical Education. The candidates who have participated at an International level or who have won Ist  2^nd  3^rd position at All India Inter University Level/ National Level Tournaments will be exempted from the PET.
