No dear your rank is very low Tulika even you can't get the lowest branch of that college. I suggested to you, try for government college which is better than MDU Rohtak. Just find out other option which is better than MDU and that may help you excel your future life.

As you have stated that you have done diploma in ECE this year and you want to take admission in mdu rohtak in b.tech 2nd year through Lateral entry. So I would like to tell you that yes it is possible to get admission in to mdu but as you have not told me your percentage in diploma, I dont know if you are eligible to get admission as well as you have not mentioned your category as it effect your admission.i hope it helped you

For sure, you are able to apply in Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. The further if you are able to get in or not, decided by the counseling. 

• Admission in B. Tech is done on the basis of Haryana State Technical Education Society ( HSTES ) counseling through valid JEE MAIN Score. 

So  , please apply for it. And be in counseling first  .

The admission in Maharshi Dayanand University campus for or B. Sc  Or BA is through the following procedures; 

• The candidates are shortlisted on the basis of Academic Merit.  The list are prepared on the marks obtained in 12th board. And after that the list displayed. 
• Keep checking the site of University when application form is out. And follow the required procedures.

The application form MDU Law Entrance Test 2019 has already been released at the official website on the 5th of June, 2019. The last date for submitting applications is on 25th June, so hurry up and fill the application form.

The exam date for the five-year integrated program is on 9th July 2019. The standard of questions will be as mentioned in the twelfth standard prescribed by the Board School of Education, Haryana.

2017 cut off for general category was 18

2018 cut off for general category was 16

Cut off generally takes place between or below the number 20.

Two cut off lists are released from DU for Msc in mathematics for councelling and college allotment procedure.

• MDU conducts Common Entrance Exam (MDUCEE) for centralised  admission to BSc course.

• For admission to BSc, candidates are shortlisted through entrance test conducted by kurukshetra University (KUK).

• A total of 7 universities participate in the MDUCEE and KUK admission process and the centralized exam is conducted in the June every year.

• Candidates need to apply for centralized admission via the respective official registration portal.

• Registrations for non- centralized admission can be done by submitting applications along with INR 150 to the concerned University department.

• Registrations are open for admission to BSc and the last date to submit applications is mentioned.
