The cell ensures that the students are placed in top-notch firms of the country and abroad. It works with the motive of creating maximum job opportunities for the students of MGKVP. The Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith placement cell connects with reputed firms from various sectors and welcomes them to conduct MGKVP campus placements. Internship opportunities are also offered by some of the companies to the potential candidates and they are given an exposure to the corporate world. The students are trained to enhance their soft skill, technical skills, communication skills, employability skills, etc. There are various stages of MGKVP placement process. Recruiters who are interested in conducting the Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith campus placement inform the college regarding its selection process and the resumes of the candidates are screened accordingly. After this, a placement schedule is fixed and then a placement talk is delivered and then screening tests are taken. •  Fixing a Schedule and slot allocation: Then with the mutual agreement between the recruiters and the Placement Cell dates are finalised for conducting the MGKVP placement drive. Then slots are allocated to different recruiters and the schedule is notified to the students.
• Registration of the interested candidates for participation in the MGKVP recruitment drive: Candidates interested for participation in the placement drive have to get themselves enlisted and register for participation. They have to submit their updated resumes along with all the necessary documents.
• Interaction with the Company: Companies have to visit Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith as per the dates mentioned in the placement schedule. The recruiting companies first deliver a pre-placement talk for the students. It is a formal session held for the students so that they are well aware of the policies and norms followed by the company. Students can also get all their doubts cleared. 
• Shortlisting of registered candidates meeting the pre-hiring demand: Candidates are shortlisted academic requirements as demanded by the companies.
