Established in the year 2011, the Mahatma Gandhi University of Medical Sciences and Technology, situated in Jaipur, Rajasthan, holds the distinction of being the inaugural Private Medical University in the state. MGUMST Jaipur has gained official recognition from the University Grants Commission (UGC). MGUMST Jaipur is accredited by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and approved by the Government of India (GOI).
MGUMST Jaipur offers an extensive array of undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programmes spanning various medical specialties. Courses offered by MGUMST Jaipur include and its affiliated colleges include MD, MS, DM/MCH, MBBS, M.Sc, BDS, MDS, Nursing, BPT, MPT, B.Sc and much more. Admission to MGUMST Jaipur is merit based and the selected students will be called for a written test and counselling process.
MGUMST Jaipur has established an extensive infrastructure featuring more than 1000 beds equipped with piped oxygen supply, up to 400 ICU beds supported by nearly 150 ventilators, 5 ECMO units, oxygen concentrators, 1400 oxygen cylinders, and the state's most extensive oxygen generation system to serve as a backup for our liquid medical oxygen reserves.
