B.Com Professional at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) Offline Course

This Programme focuses on developing proficiency in accountancy, taxation and finance. The programme facilitates students to pursue higher education in Management/Commerce and also in pursuing a professional qualification such as CA, ACCA etc. The programme aims at developing Accountancy and Finance professionals to meet the Industry requirements in India and Abroad.

B.Com (Professional) curriculum is embedded with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, UK) and our students study these globally recognised subjects of ACCA as part of the syllabus. Hence, any student who joins our B.Com (Professional) programme is eligible to enrol for ACCA. Since we have incorporated the ACCA subjects into our curriculum, our students enjoy subject exemptions from ACCA as well. Currently, a B.Com (Professional) student of Manipal University who registers for ACCA gets exemptions for the first 6 papers of ACCA (F1 to F6) and they can start preparing for F7 onwards of ACCA. Additionally, “Centre for Advanced Learning in Finance and Accounting” of Dept. of Commerce provides additional coaching to the students on need basis with separate tuition fees to enable them to prepare for these papers and to get ACCA certified.
