The Kohima campus of the Nagaland University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes through its 10 departments and 2 centers. To get an admission to the various programmes offered by the university, candidates need to apply online and appeared for the entrance exam.  Nagaland University Admission Process for M.Ed:

• Candidates need to apply online on the university website.

Nagaland University Admission Process for M.Phil English, and Centre for Naga Tribal Language Studies:

• Candidates need to apply online on the university website.
• They have to fill in the application form with correct information and pay the application fee.
• Candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance/admission test conducted by the respective department of the university.
• Shortlisted candidates have to appear for the interview.
• Further, the candidates have to complete the admission process, which includes document verification and fee payment. 

Nagaland University Admission Process  for Ph.D in Commerce, Naga Tribal Language Studies, Education, English, Geology, Hindi, History & Archaeology, Linguistics, Psychology, Management, Teacher Education, and Tenyidie:

• They have to fill in the application form with correct information and pay the application fee.
• Candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance/admission test conducted by the respective department of the university.
• The candidates who have qualified in the entrance test will be called for interview/viva-voce, conducted by the Department Research Committee. 
• Candidates with UGC-CSIR-NET/JRF, UGC-NET/JRF, SLET, GATE are exempted from the Entrance Test.
• Further, the candidates have to complete the admission process, which includes document verification and fee payment.
