Nagaland University, Kohima Admission Process

The Kohima campus of the Nagaland University offers undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. programmes through its 11 departments and 2 centres. To get an admission to the various programmes offered by the university, candidates need to apply online and appear in the entrance exams such as CUET/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA or equivalent exams. M.Phil	Master’s degree from a recognised university in a relevant field with at least 55% marks obtained.

Nagaland University Admission Process for Ph.D in Commerce, Naga Tribal Language Studies, Education, English, Geology, Hindi, History & Archaeology, Linguistics, Psychology, Management, Teacher Education, and Tenyidie:

They have to fill in the application form with correct information and pay the application fee.
Candidates have to appear and qualify the entrance/admission test conducted by the respective department of the university.
The candidates who have qualified in the entrance test will be called for interview/viva-voce, conducted by the Department Research Committee.
Candidates with UGC-CSIR-NET/JRF, UGC-NET/JRF, SLET, GATE are exempted from the Entrance Test.
Further, the candidates have to complete the admission process, which includes document verification and fee payment.
