72 MonthsPh.D. Electrical and Electronics Engineering shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Specialization/ Area of Research - Control System, Power Electronics, Drives, Power Systems, Optimization, Soft Computing, Artificial Intelligence.
Eligibility Criteria
Master’s degree in Engineering / Technology with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Technology in a relevant area specified above with a minimum First class and CGPA /CPI of 6.5 or above (on the scale of 10) or 60% marks (55% marks for SC/ST candidates).
