Dont worry there is always scope for improvement engineering maths is a bit complex but it isnt as tough as it is said the mathematics in engineering would be more of application than just solving problems. You can apply this mathematics in your domains, for example laplace is used to solve complex problems.
There is mathematics in every fied of engineering such as computer science plus the mathematics is going to be there only for three semesters not eight semesters.
Hope it helps.
I think you should discuss this query with the Professors and HODs at your college as they will be able to guide you better.
Although on their site which is :
they, have explicitly mentioned that they have workshops for Mechanical Engineers.
Currently National institute of Technology Nagaland is one of the best NIT's. Speaking about the placements , the College has excellent placement record with IT Companies are the Major recruitment. Mechanical Engineering is also good. But there is no doubt about the placements for CS,IT and ECE students. Even they recruit Mechanical students too. No great opportunities for Mechanical stream.
I don't think so that you will have any software or computer course attached with Mechanical branch.as mechanical and computer engineering are totally 2 different things. But if you perform well in 1st year you can change your stream in 2nd year. Otherwise you can take certification in computer course outside while pursuing Mechanical Engineering.
Best of luck
It will go like this -
1. NIT Arunachal Pradesh
2. NIT Sikkim
3. NIT Nagaland
4. NIT Manipur
5. NIT Mizoram.
Best of Luck.
Hope this helps.
