This college, with its sprawling campus and its half-finished buildings, would creep up on you by the end of your second year, this I am sure of. People drown and rise here with fearful transience, in studies, mooting, love, life, whatnot. Some things are very good here. The crowd is an apt representation of what the world would look like, both good and bad. Infrastructure-wise, it lacks at some places, makes it up with a doughty, determined crowd that wants to make it, no matter what. Placement is bleak, with the college playing a very minimal role. All jobs grabbed by our alumni is through hard work and determination of their own, and believe me, the prospects of hard work this college would provide a lot of scope for. When I graduate, I am going to miss this place.

The college is only 8 years old and with three batches graduated, and it has already gone places! It has one of the best classroom infrastructures with the use of top end technology. Although the library is small, it has one of the largest collection of books, especially for commercial laws. The University is also in the process of constructing a three storied library, which should be complete on about one year's time. The college places great emphasis and importance on mooting, with teams already having qualified and done well in the world rounds of the Oxford IP, Jessup, Frankfurt Investment Arbitration Moot, Manfred Lachs, and IMAM to name a few. The college gets frequent visits from Corporate Professionals and reputed people from the legal field to give guest lectures on contemporary topics, The University occupies a spacious 50 acres of land, right in between the Mahanadi and Kathjodi rivers, thereby keeping in touch with nature's best! Each student gets a single room [only] and gives them the privacy they wish to maintain. The college is also well known for its participation in various sports and cultural activities, and also maintains the culture within the University, thereby not making it a sole education hub. This places gives you the platform to ensure all round development, and gives you a platform to attain one's natural self, and develop one's skills and potential since most of it is student organized and student run. Although the University has students placed at all the top tier firms in the country, all of it is secured by the students through PPOs. The placement cell, is, however, dormant, with only 4-5 firms having visited the University in the last 3 years, but efforts are being done to bring more people here for recruitment. But all in all, it is a wonderful place to study. In about 10 years, I see this University going places!

NLU Odisha, a place where no laws of war exist. The attacks an individual faces here is multi-faceted, the administration is like a bunch of departments with no synchronicity, similar to Austin's bunch of commands that don't amount to a legal system. The organisational structure of the University is unclear and the people concerned love to shift their responsibilities fluidly from one to another, effectively making any interaction with them absolutely energy draining. The infrastructure of the hostel is as of yet satisfactory, but with the increase in the number of admissions in a batch, there is a foreseeable problem of comfortable housing for the students, girls in particular. The faculty is the best mixture of competence and incompetence, there are few of them for whose lectures I would miss my breakfast, and that is saying something. But there are few others whose classes are equivalent to torture. But University is not all that bad, the library books and dedicated students make up for a lot of its drawbacks. The faith that the Alumni and the students can salvage this dratted place is all helps me survive here.

I am Divya Rathore, currently in my third year at National Law University, Odisha. The college is a pleasant place to be and provides an atmosphere for the overall development of the students. The college is in its developing stages and the infrastructure is still coming up and will hopefully be complete in a year's time. The college provides for a sports arena with elaborate courts for various sports. As far as hostels are concerned, students have single occupancy rooms to themselves and are well maintained. NLUO has earned one of the top places in moot court competitions and has a very strong and healthy mooting culture. NLUO is one of the few institutes where the student crowd is diverse and is a place where different cultures meet. The campus is situated in the lap of nature, between two rivers and is surrounded by greenery which makes it extremely picturesque and surreal. The college can work upon certain facilities like provision of proper canteens and could try speeding up the construction work at the university campus. keeping in mind the fact that NLUO is situated at a comparatively smaller place (Cuttack), frequent cultural and extra-curricular activities would bring the college to life. overall, my experience at this college has been so far so good and I expect to see the college grow in the coming years and become more student friendly.

NLUO is one of the prestigious national law universities situated between two rivers in cuttack, odisha giving it a beautiful view for those who love nature, crowd is good so is the hostel with single occupancy room, food is good but still you will miss your home cooked nutritious food, locality outside the college and the city is something that you might not find good enough especially if you are from a metro city. I would say nluo is a very good institute and worth your money.
