Does Pu release separate merit list according to categories? and is counselling done on the basis of tentative merit list that has been done

PU prepares provisional and final merit list after adding marks obtained in entrance exam and others (such as percentage etc) according to their due weightage, counselling is done on the basis of this list. And yes the lists are prepared categorywise.

The first round merit list for BCOM and BBA at PU has been released . But there are no official updates about second round cutoff. But you can expect second merit list to be released by the second week of august , 2019.

To calculate the NATA cutoff, your board percentage is added to the half of your NATA score. In this case, 58 + (82/2) = 58 + 41 = 99.

A NATA cutoff of 99 out of 200 is a decent score. You can try for a merit seat

There is no official statement by PU, Chandigarh about the increase in the number of seats on the website. The number of seats are the same as before about 3156, 409 UG and 2427 PG.

The Campus is well-maintained and provides a good learning environment. Classroom are spacious, clean, and equipped with basic facilities. The library has a decent collection of books, while laboratories are although they could be improved in some areas.
