Yes ,Punjab university offers  M.Tech. (Regular & Part Time) courses  with mechanical department is equipped with excellent infrastructure and various state-of-the art laboratories. The laboratories possess latest equipment, instruments and software packages. Aesthetically designed academic area, cafeteria etc. in a clean and green ambience provide a very conducive environment for academics. The main strength of the department is the dedicated band of qualified faculty members, offering a harmonious blend of industrial and academic experience. Presently, there are 34 faculty members in the department, 7 Professors and 27 Assistant Professors along with well-trained technical and non-technical staff to assist them. The department boasts of its intellect with 14 doctorate faculty members. Punjabi University is NAAC 'A' grade accredited by the University Grants Commission  .

Sorry to say but you have absolutely bo chance to get in PU with a JEE rank of over 2 lakhs and that top when only 20 seats are left.Trust me thistle seats will be filled by candidates having state quota.

No! Studying biology is not compulsory if you are opting for math based courses. If you want to take branches like Computer Science, Eletronics in B.Tech then instead of biology you can opt for CS, electronics in 11th and 12th. For branches like biotechnology, environmental engineering you must have prerequisite knowledge in biology. However, if you are unsure of what course you might take after 12th then biology can be safer option.

The PUCET UG results have been declared on 5  September,2020. It has been released in the form of merit list for courses such as BA, BSc, certificate, diploma and  lifestyle technology. Earlier the tentative dates were 1 September, 2020, but the results got declared on 5th of September.

In any entrance examination for MA English course, there may be questions about the following:

  • Objective type: Language & Literature, and Current affairs
  • Subjective type: Poetry Comprehension (Understanding)
  • Subjective type: Essay topics related to literature and general awareness.

Prepare for these three sections mainly. Different examinations have different criteria, but these are the basic topics you must prepare to crack the entrance examination for MA English.

It depends on for which college you are giving the exam but the general sylabus is provided to you here.  Ideally, an MA English Literature requires a student to study 16 courses over the span of two years. Some universities also allow a student to select a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 4 courses from other departments of Humanities and Social Sciences. Entrance test for MA English in Punjab University, Chandigarh will be conducted for a duration of 90 minutes with a total of 75 marks, the syllabus consists of MCQs of 15 marks to check the understanding of the candidates regarding literarure, language, other such relevant fields,  an essay of 400 words with 25 marks, a reading comprehension to test literary appreciation with an unseen poem of 20 marks and precis writing of 15 marks.
