The infrastructure of the University is really excellent. It has variety of spaces around it which you can explore. The classrooms are well equipped with wooden semicircular benches. There is a fabulous centeral and departmental library. There is a language lab which has smart whiteboard and there are so many facilities available in the departments for the benefit of students.
The Department of English and Cultural Studies is an aesthetic place where you can earn the true knowledge about literature. Outstanding professors and PhD scholars who are always there to help a student.
There are always good opportunities for placement in University. The Department of English and cultural studies always provide the different platforms where you can work and gain experience. According to the student's caliber, the job will be provided.
The cost for the course is around 12,000/year. The government institutions are known for their merit and not for the cost because the amount is pocket friendly.
The Campus is so beautiful. Everyday you will get an opportunity to engage yourself with so many activities around the campus. Greenery in campus is in abundance. The environment of campus is excellently safe and no major issues as such. StuC ( student centre) is one of the major attraction for students.
Infrastructure is decent. Free Wifi facility in the campus. 24×7 library. No timing restrictions in the hostels. Lawns, gardens, shooting range, alumni house, guest house, swimming pool, badminton, basketball and tennis courts facilities also available. All facilities are well maintained and hygienic plus the campus is really beautiful.
One of the best universities in northern India. Doing my masters in English rn. Although the no. of permanent professors is low but the quality of teaching is superb. The curriculum is also advanced and updated recently.
Placements are fairly good in STEM and business administration fields in the UIET , chemical engineering, UILS, UBS departments with decent packages but not quite promising in other fields like humanities.
Since it's a public university, the course fees are considerably low and affordable. Hostel accommodation and food prices in the campus especially StuC are pretty economic as well.
Campus Life is really amazing in terms of no restrictions especially to hostellers. Popular joints to hangout especially StuC. There's even a fine arts museum. Overall transportation in the campus is also good. There's e-rickshaws which take you anywhere in the campus for merely 10 Rupees per person. There' s also popular tourist spots such as the StuC, Gandhi Bhawan and rose garden as well. So it's pretty amazing.
Very good infrastructure. There is Greenery all around. Classes are also nice but the campus is more beautiful and blissful. University has all the facilities and it's a good experience to be there and study.
Our department doesn't have many good professors we are being taught by research scholars who obviously don't have that much experience and I find that lacking. We need more professors. Other than that syllabus and all is really good.
There aren't many chances of jobs especially in our field but we do have a placement cell and it does it's work. But still I'd say we need better placements options for everyone. Also the whole procedure needs to be more easy
Studying here in uni is definitely value for money. The fee is nominal of both course and hostel and the facilities provided are very good. You can get proper exposure and freedom to do what you want and learn.
Absolutely love the campus life. The uni is in the centre of the city and it's well connected and everything is easily accessible. The campus has almost everything in it and student doesn't even need to go out.
The overall infrastructure of Panjab University, Chandigarh is pretty good. There's plenty of space and the university is very tidy. Surrounded by trees as well as well paved roads connecting the various departments.
Academically the University is pretty good, there's plenty of national toppers as well as recognised professors of various fields overlooking the development of the students. There are many courses offered by the university.
Placements out of Panjab University, Chandigarh are average. Many companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, Deloitte, Goldman Sachs, Adobe, TCS, Infosys (mass recruiter), Eicher Motors, TATA, Mahindra and Mahindra, etc., visit our college for placements.
The college has all the necessary infrastructure although it takes little time to get things done if there is any problem. The infrastructure is well-maintained. The campus is immaculate and Stu-C, where we get good food.
I studied BSc in fashion and lifestyle Technology from 2018 to 2021. The quality of teaching was good and well explained. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments, faculties make us explore the updated technology by ourselves too. It's fun learning there with lots of creativity and knowledge.
To be very genuine, there was no placement by the university side. It depends on how we connect to the people during our internship. They do help us in finding the internship. I had my internship in ZARA.
Per year it was about 45k per year. And it was worth.
You will get to participate in various fashion shows as well as workshops and even you too can showcase your creativity or brand or small startups which you have.
Our college was a new building which was recently constructed on the south campus of Punjab University with good spacious classrooms and location. It was easily accessible to various parts of Chandigarh and the main campus through vehicles with digital boards and a library
Faculty members were not very good. Students had to manage on their own as they were not interested in students. However, ample environment and curriculum were there for self-growth. They were not very strict, which would help for holistic growth and development of skills and knowledge.
Placements were average. The placement cell was active and improving a lot, but still, it needed an improvement, especially in retail and HR fields, with more focus on internships and training. Salary packages are easy to get with little effort here.
The infrastructure of the Panjab University, Chandigarh is very good. The University provides students with all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments that help the students to reach their goals.
The academic level of the Panjab university, chandigarh is very good. The university falls under the top university in the whole country. The teaching quality is also great and all the teachers are very well experienced.
The placement rate of the university is also good. As the university is one of the top universities in the whole country and has good reputation, it brings various big multi national companies for the placement drives.
College infrastructure is average with descent looking buildings. The buildings are now old and they actually need to be refurnished. Classrooms are neither very big nor so small. Hostel rooms are good. There are librararies which are available 24 hrs to study. There is a sports centre, a playground and groud for other sports are available. Overal the infrastructure is not so bad.
In academics, the university is actually good. The quality of teaching and curriculum here is modernised. Nearly all the department teachers are very supportive and friendly; they always guide students on how to do good at academics.
Placements are average at this college. Sometimes the mass recruiters such as infosys, TCS come for recruitment here. Regular news and information is provided by the college about the placements. The placement rate can be improved a bit for the all the departments by calling more companies to the campus.
The unviersity is value for money because it has very less fees if we compare to other colleges. The fees is around 25-30k per year which is very affordable. Hostel facilities are also good and cheap. Having a degree in spending so less amount of fees is advantageous for students.
Campus life is happy and peaceful. Students are allowed to freely spend time together anytime. Students here are friendly and cheerful. The environment is really good and it feels very motivating to be here. There are events and fests on timely basis in the college.
Some parts are needed to be improved but otherwise this is a good college.
Panjab University has best State-Of-Art that enhance the learning skills. Campus aesthetic appeal compliment vibrant learning atmosphere provides student a best of a kind learning experience. All lecture classes are equipped with modern technology and wife enabled campus.
A curriculum designed for not only academic growth but also for overall development for an individual. Professor ,expert in there field and impart knowledge with dedication and imparting practical knowledge too .Diverse academic curriculum helps in fostering the students in achieving there goals.
Placement drives are regularly conducted within the campus and Professors guides student in different phases of their sessions about job opportunities and and value of there dedication and work they are doing during there sessions. The placements cell work tirelessly to help students.
Infrastructure is average, though it varies from department to deparftment. Some others do have good amount of funds, but English department lacks sufficient funds. The auditorium stage is broken, rooms often lack cleaning and smartboards do not function properly. However, the department does best within its ability so as the lack of funds does not impede students' developmental journey anywhere.
Curriculum is good and library is maintained well. The only problem is that professors aren't there. New recruitments haven't been happening for almolst a decade and the older ones have been retiring with time. The classes are taken by PhD and MPhil scholars, which is a great injustice to them, as well as to students.
Placements are not that good. Well-known companies do not come for recruitment and those that come do not offer good pay. Placements opportunites are not good. Students go for off-campus placements molst of the times.
The fee is slightly higher than other government institutions and the facilities and everything could have been better. The expenses like examination fee, reevaluation fee are quite high. The hostel fee is very less though.
Campus life is amazing. Fests keep on happening in one department or the other. The university fest is amazing, a large number of sponsors are available. The campus is very beautiful and vibrant. It's just amazing.
