Infrastructure is average, though it varies from department to deparftment. Some others do have good amount of funds, but English department lacks sufficient funds. The auditorium stage is broken, rooms often lack cleaning and smartboards do not function properly. However, the department does best within its ability so as the lack of funds does not impede students' developmental journey anywhere.
Curriculum is good and library is maintained well. The only problem is that professors aren't there. New recruitments haven't been happening for almolst a decade and the older ones have been retiring with time. The classes are taken by PhD and MPhil scholars, which is a great injustice to them, as well as to students.
Placements are not that good. Well-known companies do not come for recruitment and those that come do not offer good pay. Placements opportunites are not good. Students go for off-campus placements molst of the times.
The fee is slightly higher than other government institutions and the facilities and everything could have been better. The expenses like examination fee, reevaluation fee are quite high. The hostel fee is very less though.
Campus life is amazing. Fests keep on happening in one department or the other. The university fest is amazing, a large number of sponsors are available. The campus is very beautiful and vibrant. It's just amazing.
Infrastructure wise college is very beautiful the whole campus is spread over a large area. facilities wise we are provided by all facilities like wifi and smart boards and all things are well maintained there were different sports ground for all major sports. the living spaces are good and well maintained and the mess food average but hygenic.
Academics in this university is good all curriculum is updated according recent industry standards and we are given option to choose subjects as elective as per our interests. can say that study will make you job ready, but you have to work on yourself.
talking about placements are average in this university placements for btech is good but for Bsc there is no placement you have to try from outside the quality of placements are poor there is no placement process in college.
college is average in terms of value for money because you have to pay 71000 approx. for the course and you get no placements.
Campus life is too good in the university we have got hole complex full with outlets and our campus is just in front of PGI yes can say that college is safe for girls too..
The college has all the infrastructure required by a student from well equiped libraries , sports centres, smart class rooms to facilities for students living in hostels too like wifi, laundry services, mess services to proper drinking water services. In addition to this all the living spaces are clean and hygiene food halls where students eat and interact with each other's that leads to development of strong bonds between the students.
My experience at the college was great. I opted for Bachelor of commerce as from begining of my career I had an inclination towards the field of business and being at Panjab university fulfills this aspiration of mine to choose this field. The curriculum offered at the college was well updated in relation to the changes in recent market conditions and also make us ready for the corporate world with frequent industry talks
My experience at the placement at college was wholesome, the college provides us plethora of opportunities across domains whether it's marketing, finance, operations, analytics or strategy. The college gives us opportunities from across industrial sectors, which gives students wide range of choices to choose from and they can move ahead in their career.
The course cost ₹20,000 per year and for 3 years ₹60,000. Yes I'm getting my money's worth because the learnings are great plus the exposure is also great as we got to interact with students from other countries such as Afghanistan, srilanka and nepal as well which promotes a sense of diversity among us all and also helps us in learning how to adapt to different situations.
The campus life at its best can be described as exciting and full of learnings with the highlight being the annual cultural festival where universities around the states compete, the best part is the time during election which leads to several inter party wars among students and that can get aggressive sometimes rest everything else is great and progressive.
Classrooms are well maintained and in good condition. Library is quite big, providing books for all your reading requirements. Good resources for exams, Labs are also well maintained and in good condition
I did my Bachelors in Medical Technologies from there. The course in divided into semesters with internal and external examinations for regular examination. Professors are friendly and helpful and provide with notes.
Good companies like Hyundai, wipro, infosys etc do come for campus placement. average package ranges from 5 LPA to 16 LPA. Maximum number of placements occur in computer science stream. The placement record is pretty average.
College has beautiful infrastructure and solid building and has all equipments that are necessary. laboratories are fully air conditioned and sport center, has tennis and football ground hockey ground . The campus is full wifi-ed. Everything is well used and wll maintained. The whole campus is tidy. So many tress in the campus area. The living space is clean too
Last year I completed my microbiology integerated course from there. Level of reasearch is very good in the department. Quality of teaching is way amazing. The curriculum has all the recent developments and it makes student job ready too. Teachers are very supportive and helpful.
There is no placement cell in microbiology department so far. Student do research internship on their own in summer and most of the children does phd program from there or move to abroad. So can't comment much on placement. Other departments have great placement like engineering and management block.
Very cheap University
Best
No, the university lacks proper infrastructure, and has out dated equipments. The instruments are in poor shape and barely working. The living space is dirty and never cleaned. The facilities are average.
The teachers are elderly and impatient. Mostly never interested in teaching and more into their own personal research. And barely into the student welfare. The students do not receive adequate support.
There has never been any placements under the university. The students are left to fend for themselves after completion of course. The departments show no interest in helping to provide even the slightest of guidance.
The fees is relatively high and is always increasing for ever worsening laboratory conditions. The use of instruments are avoided at all costs to avoid maintenance. The regants are expired most of the times and new ones are rarely orderd.
The university life is only for hostellers. The day scholars are never considered for any participation ever. The life of day scholars is highly limited to studies. The early morning classes are mostly dependent on teacher's mood.
Infrastructure is good. Facilities provided are also fine. There are some issues in laboratories but it's fine . Wifi are classes are well- maintained. Wifi is also available. Sports centres is good. Everything is fine.
Academics is great here. Curriculum is to the mark. It goes with the modern times. Recently implemented the NEP 2020. Although there are few links here and there but it has been implemented well. It makes us job ready.
There are some great quality placements here for not only engineering students from UIET or uicet but also for those who are doing bsc or Msc and those who are in MBA studying in uiams and UBS. It's pleasant and the college is supportive of us.
Studying in Panjab University is VFM. Microbiology was only 25K a year for fees. So it's totally feasible and apt. Totally justified. And although it's an absurd question, we are getting our moneys worth.
College life is best. Students can engage in all kinds of extra curricular activities. Right from sports to other activities and hobbies such as music, or games. Campus is great, teachers are totally supportive of wherever we excel and wherever we perform.
The campus life is great. The University life is great. My college is great and my department is also very great. The curriculum, the teachers , all are very good. And studying here has been a great pleasure.
College infrastructure is great. It's beautiful and mind relaxing, at the same time it's a great ambient place for studying. Personally I love here being a student. The college fests are bombastic. Departments are great.
Great teachers are here. All of them are at the top of their game, they are able to teach right from simple to complex terms and concepts in simple form. The curriculum is apt and easy to study. Microbiology is a great subject and has a long range of scope in the near future.
System is good here. Placements are happening, although because of covid that was down, but now it is slowly rising. Students of MBA, BBA, BTECH MTECH as well as of bsc and msc have great placements with great starting packages.
Absolutely VFM. The course and the fees paid for it is apt. There are no regrets and I'm totally.getting my money's worth. Although ques is kinda absurd but either way, department and the university over all is great.
Campus life is the main highlight of this university. It's beyond words. I love hanging out with my friends here as well as my family. The location is totally safe, uni is safe in it self with security and well working dispensery. It's safe and its totally able to handle emergencies.
I recommend Panjab University, to anyone who comes from far places like Himachal and Punjab or Delhi. It's worth finishing your degree here.

about 24k per year
Great life
The infrastructure here is very well maintained and the facilities are upto date . The labs, the classrooms, seminar hall , office and everything is very well to do and even the washrooms are very clean
The teachers and the staff here is very humble and the content, way of teaching everything is so easy to grasp and perform. Teachers have great knowledge about their particular topics and always ready to answer the queries
Not so sure about the placement although but they do try to make the background strong so that it becomes easy to pursue future in the particular stream. And surely they make us practice everything hence simplifying things
Yes the course is value for money
The campus is very well established and maintained Very happy to be a part of this institution.
Hello Aspirant,
If you are a Karnataka PU student who joined a diploma lateral entry course during your drop year, but now wants to get admission into an engineering college based on your 2nd PUC marks (not through the diploma), you should give the Transfer Certificate (TC) from your PU college.
As you are not going the diploma route to get admitted into engineering, then the PU TC only is enough and valid. But if you have already went to a diploma institute, even if for a small number of days, I can foresee some colleges also asking for a TC or discontinuation certificate from the diploma institute, just to address the dual enrollment concern.
Hello,
The last date for B.Com admission in Gopalraj First Grade PU College has not been officially announced online. Also, the detailed fee structure is not available on the official website. It is advised to contact the college directly for the exact admission last date and fee details.
Hope it helps !
To effectively prepare for the 2nd PU board math exam in one month, focus on consistent practice, targeted revision, and understanding core concepts. Prioritize understanding formulas and practicing problems from the NCERT textbook. Supplement your learning with previous year's question papers and sample papers, and dedicate time for revision and clarifying doubts.
