Department of Microbiology, PU was fully equipped with all the modern and traditional technologies required to learn n understand the subject in depth. Wifi, smart board, smart class room, all the microbiological related instrunmnets,HPLC, centrifuge, water bath, shakers, incubators, ELISA READER, PCR, GC, autoclave etc.... space s are extremely well maintained.

I studied BSc microbiology and Msc Microbiology, quality of teaching was very good. Probably the best in the northern region of our country. Curriculum was updated time to time and include all the recent development of teh field. best practical and laboratory knolwdge was imparted. students can very well start thier career in teaching, industrial and reserach field

average salary 20,000-60,000. for the placements of the students, department could make more efforts. for the placement, students themselevs have to amke effort rather tahn depending on the institute. College was not enough supportive in this regard

Panjab University provide a wide range of facilities and equipment to support our learning and living experience both in classroom as well as the conference hall of Department of political science. I would say that the library which is ado in the same floor of our classroom is well stocked and maintained, offering us a conducive environment for research. Also the sport centre offers various activities and for hostel, it provides comfortable living spaces with gym and reading common room.

I’m an alumni ( MA pol sc batch 2023). I would say I’m passionate about understanding the dynamics of pol sc and its impact on society. The quality of teaching by my professors are quite commendable. Regd. the curriculum, it appears to be well rounded, covering a wide range of topics in pol sc. and to stay job ready, I’ve been supplementing my studies to crack NET UGC as I love teaching like my professors relating to politics and governance which I recommend as an essential for the young minds.

I don’t have specific information about placement because to my knowledge our program doesn’t offer placement support at that time. However it’s possible that the department might considered introducing placement opportunities ( like the student exchange program based on our program) for the graduates with the addition of new initiatives and facilities.

The annual cost of my program is quite reasonable, at 11k only. I feel like I’m getting my money worth for few reasons: the quality of education as well as the expertise of the faculty have been excellent, also the library facility have been valuable to my studies during my days in PU. And lastly the low tuition cost makes it accessible for many students which is appreciable.

On the +ve note, it’s sprawling, green campus with plenty open space which provide good environment for study and leisure. -ve note may be the lack of modern infrastructure in some dept and maintenance issue in certain facilities. There are various clubs and activities where students can engage in cultural, sports and social cause. The students , teachers and staff members have been generally helpful. Overall, I would say PU provides a conducive environment for learning and growth.

Yes , my college Panjab University has a variety of modern infrastructure facilities for student 's convenience and to enhance their social and academic experiences. The classrooms are well equipped and fully air conditioned , with smart T.V. the laboratories are properly maintained . The hostels are well furnished with proper security both for males and females separately. There are variety of sports available like gymnasium, swimming pool, basketball. The entire campus is Wifi enabled

I m studying Microbiology because I always had an interest in the scientific field and this particular field holds my interest. yes the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field which will help me further in my studies. Yes microbiology has a great scope ahead and whatever Iam studying here will definately help me in getting a good job and accomplishing my dreams.

The placements have been very good. Many companies come every year and the students get benefitted with a handful of opportunities. Mostly 80-85% students get placed. the highest package goes for the B-tech students (engineering) of about 30 lakhs. the average salary offered is about 5-6 lakhs . Yes the placement process was very easy as there is a committee specially made for this where they are in contact with the companies and they keep us informed.

Since it's a government university so the fee was not much , the course cost per year was around approximately around 15000. Yeah I am getting my money's worth as the knowledge I am gathering is very helpful and faculty is also very helpful in this.

The college campus is very lively and fun. There are clean and wide roads, no hassle , nearby market within the campus where you can easily get anything , parks and gardens to sit around. The best feature is the student centre for which Panjab university is famous for , it is a hub for street food . the students , teachers and staff are very supportive always there for help. the location is very safe with 24/7 security. Yes it can handle emergencies it has healthcare centre (dispensary)

It is a great experience to study here. Best in tricity and really affordable. Colleges infrastructure was really great. Best in academics and extra curricular activities. Lot of other activities to offer

Quality of placement is good in microbiology deptt. It is easy and pleasant for the students. Deptt was quite supportive for the students and they are working in different fields like teaching, industry etc

It is value for money. It was quite affordable for everyone. Teaching is really great. We get what we pay for. Course costed really less. No hidden and extra charges involved that was the best part.

Campus Life was good. Students can engage in different activities along with studying. They get plenty of time for this. There are different languages deptt, sports, archery, swimming and many other facilities

It is a great place to study and learn. Different departments are there. You can learn a lot. Economic option. And teachers mentors are highly educated. Everybody is there to help. Must go. Teaching is also good

Yes my college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities like gym swimming pool volleyball ground basketball ground and other equipment like laboratory and computer labs overall studies are excellent

Overall studies are excellent and the faculty is also cooperative supportive and good. They do provide good education, teachers pay full attention to the queries doubts of the students. They also provide some guest lectures, seminars, webinars to enhance students knowledge and UppSkill them to make job ready and I enjoy the viva here lush green garden in the campus

The university is well known for its placements and they guarantee placements to each and every student in the Department of engineering in PhD programme. We have training program. Although the students get placed according to their skills and aptitude some students go to 4 and after that some people apply here in the campus. Only teaching staff get good pay scale

I've done my post-graduation in Pol. Sc. About the quality of the teaching is out of words. They teachers are so humble and explained everything with their might and also helped us with materials of other competitive exams and guiding us well.

The college was very supportive in every field. Yes it was very much easy and pleasant as the teachers and research scholars were very much helpful and cooperative. And in case of difficulties, they were always with us in any doubt we have and help us with their immense experiences .

Yes it's worth the money. I've gained so much knowledge and broaden my horizon from it.

Yes college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. Labs are fully equipped and were aur conditioned. Cleanliness level at department is incomparable to other. Proper sitting arrangement in the labs library as well.. we have different shops to eat at campus. For quick snacks too we have different places like Stuc, mahajan eatables. All in all evening walk at campus is so wholesome. There is so much greenery all over the campus. University also has free gym facility there

Quality of teaching is good. I studied microbiology, the curriculum is updated and up to the mark to meet the skill for market. Yes study did made me job ready. You can pursue phd as well can enroll yourself in projects after you are done with masters. As such there is no placement cell dedicated completely to the department but I do hope in future it become. Getting job is difficult as you have to look on your own. department like chemistry, botany, maths, zoology has there own placement cell.

The quality of placement at our college is good. But microbiology department doesn't have a dedicated placement cell as of now. People after their degree , go for abroad or some enroll themselves in projects. Other go into private jobs. Some people shift to phd programs, which is quite good here. Can't say much about placement

35k is the course per year as far as i remember. The course fee here is quite cheap and the good thing is curriculum is up to the mark.

Yes,we have proper laboratories,wifi facilities and all other required facilities.The college has a beautiful ambience and infrastructure. The classrooms are fully air conditioned and they provide us all the basic amenities that are required in the classrooms. They have a peaceful environment all over the campus

Best at academics.Overall academics are good and the faculty is also good they do provide good education. Teachers pay full attention to the queries of the students. They also provide some guest lectures to enhance students knowledge and skills

Placements are pretty average .The university is not that much good at placements . Although the students get placed according to their skills and aptitude. Some students who don't work hard don't get good placements but they get an average placemens.

College infrastructure is very well maintained and properly managed they have sufficient funds allocation for infrastructure and achknowlege students demands that they need in buildings for betterments

Professors are highly educated and they are experienced with over 10 plus years their way of teaching is very well they teach from scratch and made us understand each and everything when we go to them for any help

Good job opportunities as this give us very good personality and good education higly valuable institution and every person from here somewhere settle in life as this place enhances our skills and confidence

Aesthetic infrastructure with a good friendly environment. AC joshi library makes it more valuable by providing all the needed facilities. Faculty is very helpful and supportive. Wifi facility is provided to the students along with other things.

Very diversified atmosphere which helps you to enhance your academic experience. I am pursuing my Ph.d degree in the department of sociology. It has helped me to sharpen my skills and also being a better human being.

It has a good reputation in placements if we conpare to the nearby universities in north region. There is a bit need of improvement when it comes to the placements. University should work on it. It will boost up the confidence of the students.
