The People University was established in the year 2011 and accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) . The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE. The University is a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The university offers a variety of courses in different domains at four levels of programmes. The people University admission offered in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses.  The candidates who want to apply for any course must fulfill the People's University eligibility criteria. The candidates must also appear for the relevant entrance examination such as CAT/ NEET/ CMAT/ XAT/ MAT, NCHM JEE/ NEET PG/ JEE Main,GATE or equivalent. 

The People University admissions will be based on the entrance examination scores and the academic performance of the candidates. The Peoples University Bhopal has a dedicated placement cell on campus that facilitates the placement activities. The People University Bhopal placement cell acts as a link between the students and the companies. The university offers various facilities on campus for the students and the staff. The campus of People’s University is situated on Ayodhya Bypass Road, Bhanpur, in the city of Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh. The university is easily accessible by various modes of transport. The nearest railway station is Bhopal Junction, which is about 6 km away and can be reached by a 15-minute drive. The closest airport is Rajabhoj International Airport, which is around 10 km away and can be reached by a 20-minute drive. The nearest bus stop is Bhopal Memorial, which is around 1 km away and can be reached by a 3-minute walk.
