These rooms are sufficiently ventilated and intended for twin sharing; they come with an attached bathroom and a balcony. The hostel messes and Indian coffee houses on campus provide various types of meals and fast food. The hostels are also provided with water purifiers, water coolers, entertainment facilities, a gymnasium, and communication facilities.

The students receive first aid free of charge, and advanced facilities are available at a nominal cost. Free regular physical examinations and health checkups are provided to Nursing students at People's Hospital. Concessionary medical treatment and medicine facilities are available.

There is a Central multi-facility piece of equipment in the gymnasium of the University which allows several enthusiasts to exercise at the same time. It is a large and advanced gym that is well equipped with the latest facilities. Skilled gym instructors are there to guide the students.

The library's total area is 2400 sq. meters; it houses 20748 books and 112 national and international journals. Besides these, 50 computers with internet facilities, academic CDs, audio-visual aids, and separate units for students and staff are available. There are also two separate reading rooms for students in the library, which remain open for 24 hours. There is full-text online access to more than 1524 Medline Journals along with a skill lab.
