Dear aspirant,

PUCET is a state based exam so there will not be any centres outside the state that is the rule with most state exams. You may have to chose a specific date for PUCET such that it doesn't clash with the date of your advance that's all i can say.

Hey.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that there is equal a weightage for both entrance ranks and graduation marks you'd require good marks in both for a fair chance of Admission here. A final merit list will be prepared according to your combined scores with weightage is any. As far as the previous year trends of the Chandigarh Campus are concerned, if your combined merit rank under 250 in the general category you can expect a seat in the first counselling itself. The cut off for the subsequents will go higher and there are usually more than 1 counsellings always. With a combined score of more than 65 without weightage you can expect fair chances for Chandigarh Campus in the first counsellings. Also, this is just an estimate rest would depend on the factors this year as the cut off varies each year.
Best of luck

Hey Yoshita.
Considering your rank in entrance exam is 1180 and that your boards exam score is 75.% you seem to have no chances for admission in UILS, Chandigarh.
There are 120 seats each for BALLB and BCOM LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres. So for the Chandigarh campus if your rank in the BA LLB merit list after combination of both scores is uner 150-180 you'll have a fair chance in the first counselling itself.
And with your rank and marks in boards your chances  are not much. Chances for the regional centres are also less. Wait for the final merit list to be out for a better estimate.
Best of luck

Hi,

Sorry, but it isn't easy to get admission here. Your scores are good but the cut off has been around 200+ for the general candidates. You may try elsewhere.

Good luck!

Hi,
Punjab University had conducted its first graduation entrance exam. Currently the results are out. Firstly i would like to congratulate you on getting a results and passing the exam. Speaking of the cutoff, I couldn't find any specific cutoff for this year although it has been released by the University itself. But speaking of last year the cutoff for reserved categories was 15% of the total marks. So it should be similar this year also. so check your results and calculate the percentage of your marks with the total marks and depending on that the cutoff will vary. if you still have any doubt I would advise you to contact University itself and ask them for the cutoff.
All the best

Hello

Since you did not take admission on the date you were supposed to i guess your admission would have been cancelled (if there rae no vacant seats left in that particular course). It would be wise if you get in touch with someone holding an important post in PU itself. You can call them at

Hey.
Considering your score in entrance exam is 34.25 and that your Graduation score is 68% you seem to have a less chances for admission in Chandigarh campus.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your entrance rank is quite average but your graduation marks are quite average too so your chances seem less. There are not much chances for Chandigarh campus but better  chances for regional centres. Try for the regional centres in the subsequent counselling. Sowait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate.
Best of luck

Hey Kirti.
Hey.
Considering your rank in entrance exam is 456and that your boards exam score is 96.8% you seem to have a good chances for admission in UILS, Chandigarh. Even though your rank in entrance is average but as your boards score is really good it balances out as both scores are equally important because of 50% weightage for each.
And with your rank and marks in boards your chances seem good.
Best of luck

Hey.
Considering your score in entrance exam is 40.5 and that your Graduation score is 79.69% you seem to have a good chances for admission in PU considering that you belong to the BC category. Your combined merit score would be around 60 without adding any weightage if any.
There are 300 seats each for LLB in the Chandigarh campus, 60 each in regional centres.
So considering the fact that your entrance rank is quite average but your graduation marks are quite good, so your chances seem fair. There are fair chances for Chandigarh campus and good chances for regional centres. So wait for the final ranks to be out for a better estimate. But as of now chances seem fair.
Best of luck

Dear student, earlier the counselling process was scheduled to begin in the first week of July itself. As the date for filling the online form was extended till July 10, the date of counselling also have been shifted. There has been no official announcement regarding this.
