72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
The minimum qualifications for admission to Ph.D. programme (other than inservice candidates and ICAR nominees) in the faculty of Basic Sciences & Humanities shall be an OCPA of 7.00 or 70% marks or equivalent at the M.Sc. and OCPA of 5.50 or 55% marks or equivalent at Bachelor’s level as shown against respective discipline.
The candidate should have passed in M.Sc. Microbiology.
