B.Sc. Microbiology is a 4-year undergraduate program. Microbiology is the study of organisms that are very small and cannot be seen by naked eye. Microbes play an essential role in human life. During this course, students study basic courses like Bacteriology, Virology, Mycology, and Parasitology. This degree forms the basis for MSc, MPhil and PhD in specialized fields like Medical Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, Applied Microbiology, Biotechnology, Environmental Engineering etc.


Eligibility Criteria

  • Prospective students should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from the recognized school board, with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Maths as subjects studied at the intermediate level.
  •  A Minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 as qualifying criteria to secure admission in this degree course.
