M.F.Sc Aquaculture at SAGE University, Bhopal Offline Course

Agriculture & allied sectors are integral part of the nation. Aquaculture contributes around 1% GDP of the total 5 % GDP from agriculture sector. Central & State govt. took initiate to develop the sector successfully which can contribute more production in future.

University is offering MFSc and PhD program in Aquaculture which opens the door to get the opportunity to achieve the job in fish processing farm, fish feed company, fish drug & medicine company, aquaculture industry like fish & prawn farming sector, Crab & pearl production center, Coastal Management sector, Blue revolution company & in different fisheries related research field. Now worldwide, aquaculture has been declared to be the most promising sector.

The program will provide a greater understanding of the biological, technical and economic importance of fisheries areas. This is the fraternity where student apply their theoretical & practical knowledge in fisheries sector for their livelihood. They will get expertise in extension activities to benefit fish farmers of country by socio- economic uplifment and also will help in transfer of technology to industries .This program will encourage the students to explore the subject by specializing in fisheries and further studies which not only open the career for students, it also develops the lifestyle of common people of India. To promote the field and lab oriented research to tackle the emerging problems in fisheries and industry development.This program allows specializing in a specific field of Aquaculture. At present the Department has students from North East, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Maharashtra.
