    Bachelor of Library and Information Science [B. Lib. I. Sc.] is a one-year two-semester second-degree CBCS based programme offered to graduates and postgraduates from any faculty having passed their degree with minimum second class.

    Students who successfully pass their B. Lib. I. Sc. programme can enter into the field of librarianship, working as junior librarians in public, corporate, special and academic libraries [School, College, and University Library] and as librarians in School or small Public Libraries.


    Eligibility Criteria

    A candidate who has passed Bachelor degree of 3 years duration with any stream or equivalent under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university.
