College infrastructure is developing ,labs are well maintained,smart class rooms are available and well maintained,cctv surveillance everywhere ,green houses are advance lab equipments are available 1800 kanals of agriculture fields within the campus

Academic staff as well as the teachers of my division are very helpful ,humble and supportive and the teachers are also well qualified,I am studying masters in genetics and plant breeding here and the division is advanced

Placements after graduation are not available in jammu and kashmir in government sector as well as in private sector but there are opportunities for placements in a broad especially after masters in Genetics and plant breeding

The course fees of masters degree here is 27000 per semester but it varies from category to category and it is also different for other states and NRI s the mess charge here are 18000 per semester it also varies

Campus Life is good here as I enjoy every day here by participating in sports and the sports facilities are best here and I also enjoy with friends and the campus is peace full .Here you enjoy the best part of your life with your friends

Best campus in jammu and kashmir for agriculture

Well educated and highly qualified staff . agricultural field is also good .with sowing of different crops here. Agricultural field is maintained very well.in current year horticultural and landscaping is cultivated here.

Academic process is good here . Staff and academic members also guides and helps us .this institution also motivates us in every field .teachers , scientists and professors are very highly qualified ..

SUAST has a Counselling & Placement Cell that works to bring companies, do mock interviews, help with resume building, and career counseling. data (from NIRF 2022), placement rates were: ~34% for UG 4-year, ~43% for PG (2-year).

The university offers merit scholarships, welfare funds, and fellowships for students. This further reduces the net cost for many students, improving value for money. With fees structure for pg students is 27000 per semester and second third and fourth semester varies in fees

SKUAST has separate hostels for boys and girls. Rooms are reasonably equipped: study table, bed, almirah, fan, etc. According to student reviews, hostel life is quite supportive: “supportive seniors and adorable juniors” give a community feel.

I recommend this college for other states students

The infrastructure for academics is alright but the classrooms don’t fit our whole batch. The projectors don’t work in any classroom and the screen only works in one. The library is good and has adequate supply of books on agriculture and they’re pretty receptive to feedback. There’s not much scope for sports throughout the year (only one sports week in a year) and there’s no set structure for sports especially for girls. The girls gym is non-functional and none of the machines work.

I am studying Bachelors in Agriculture and the quality of teaching here is sub-par. There are only a handful of teachers that have any interest in teaching, the rest of them are apathetic. All some teachers do is put on a slideshow and read the slides. But i would say that some teachers are genuinely interested in helping you and they go out of their way to try and guide you, but those are few in number. I would say the curriculum is well-updated, but no, it doesn’t make me job ready.

There’s no placements at my college (that I know of). I don’t see any students (in the senior batch) that were placed, everyone is either preparing for a competitive exam or is pursuing higher studies. There was no placements drives here and definitely no interviews (for undergraduates). There’s not much scope internship opportunities provided by the college either.

My course costs around 1,10,000 per year. I don’t feel like i’m getting my money’s worth because they don’t teach as well as they should. they don’t provide you with the resources that they should and there’s no internships or placements where you would earn.

The best features are my friends and the rural setting of the college, the campus is pretty and full of nature and scenic places. The worst features is the misogynistic nature of the college, there are so many unnecessary restrictions for girls such as mandatory permission to even go home (only for girls) or even to the next town, you have to take permission from 3 separate people and a lot of times they aren’t available so you have to jump through so many hoops to even go home. as a woman, your matters are looked into in a very authoritative way, you are not treated like the adult you are but as a child that has no rights. to even go out of their main gate, even to the shop, you have to mark your attendance (out-time and in-time) which boys don’t have to do. hostel for girls closes at 5:45 in the evening but there’s no stipulated timing for the boys.

We have so many buildings here, and after new dean there has got so much improvement. And we have canteen here and hostels also. We have also a nice library and wifi connection buttt we don't have electricity here.

I'm in my 4th year and the quality of teaching is nice. But as my rawe is going on, so yes we are doing a lot of work with farmers. We are taking soil samples and also monitor things in their fields..

No placements yet. I'm in my bsc (4th year) We were 140 students, I'm in my 4th year and every semester I have to pay 18,000 fee. I'm still a student. And have to pay 10,000 as hostel fee also. There is no placements, we have to get internships on our own.

Well, there is canteen and hostels and good infrastructure. And yes teachers are also supportive, we have to do a lot of practical work. We have to go for rawe weekly.

Placements are fine here . Some students get offers from good places and governmental related projects. Average packages are modest, students are encouraged to a lot of places and through the number of high paying offers are good

There is scope to improve placements and hostel facilities , the acadmic experience is just overall good and I like the practical exposure also and there is a good score for value for money overall .

Campus Life is peaceful and student friendly. There are various activities like events, workshop, clubs etc that provide good opportunity for students and it's a good place for students to be. Overall the experience is great.

Infrastructure of our college is ok ok not too much developed .we often face many problems due to many reasons like we face shortage of water ,electricity problems and many more problems. We want that our college work more on Infrastructure.

Academics of our college is good .They provide us all the information related to our degree on time.They conduct our exams on time .They conduct our class according to time table.over all our Academics section is doing great job.

Our college did not give any placement. Placement ratio of our college is very low.the students of our college face many problems due to non placement .i don't have any idea regarding salary. We want that our college create more placement

Money is very valuable thing in our life wwithout money we can not buy anything.we should try to spend money carefully. We should try to avoid wastage of money .without money we can't buy anything thats all

Over cammpus is located away from the main city in wadura region of sopore.one of the benifit os we get good environment. But we face many problems during winter due to snowfall .snowfall cause blockage of roads.

College infrastructure is not that good.class rooms are overcrowded, laboratories lack proper equipment and library Do not have updated books.such conditions not only reduce academic performance but also limits practical learning and skill development

The teaching faculty is generally knowledgeable and helpful ,many teacher put sincere effort into guiding students. Till now everything is going good but I'm not sure for up coming years mmmejkejejkens

Placement plays role in Making students live but in our college no placement take place till now from last 20 years .A good placement cell maintain strong connection with compaines ,conduct training session

College offer moderate value for money,while the fee structure is quite high it keeps on increasing year by year. Overalll our degree comprises of eight smesters and each semester has a fee amount of 80000

Campus life is all fun. It's a very nice campus full of nautirustic beauty surrounded bu lushgreen fields. Students are very helpful staff is very interactive.and all emergency situations are well handled by the university .

Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment . All facilities available in our university every thing is present here available here. Living places are very much clean and also food that we eat in our university mess is also very much hygienic

Very good quality of placement at your college. Percentage of students are 60%.highest sallary package is 1lac 80 thousand average salary offered . It's not easy and pleasant placement process .yes our college was supportive .

The quality of placements are average and not that great The percentage of placement every year are 40% The highest salary offered is more than 1 lakh Average salary offered is around 40 thousand I haven’t attended any placements attended

Our college is good but it really needs improvements in many things like doing more practical demonstrations and tours and travels We should engage more in the practicals courses and should breach the gap of barriers felt Teaching staff is good Students are really good and staff is also very helpful
