36 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Yoga and Naturopathy shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned, offered by Sona Devi University, Ghatsila.
Eligibility Criteria
The student should have passed the Master's Degree from any recognized University with a Minimum of 55% marks in the concerned subject. (50% for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PWD (PH) alongwith UG Net qualification. However, the SDU will also select a few eligible candidates for Ph.D from Master's Degree Holders through SDU -RET (Research Entrance Test). Apart from that, the candidates who had qualified UG-NET/UG-JRF/CSIR-NET/GATE have passed the M.Phil Examination under the UGC M.Phil regulation, 2016, are also eligible.
