72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Science shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including coursework, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Starex University, Gurugram.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidates seeking admission to Ph.D. programs must have secured at least 55% marks at the PG level for relevant disciplines or have obtained a CGPA of 5.5 or above on 10 point scale or an equivalent grade. However, in the case of SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layers)/Differently-abled candidates, the minimum marks required shall be 50% or 5/10 CGPA.
Admission Details
It shall consist of the following components:
A. i) Entrance Examination – 70% Marks
ii) Interview - 30% Marks
N.B. - The minimum marks are 50% in the written examination and interview taken together. However, a relaxation of 5 % of marks (from 50% to 45%) shall be allowed for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy layers)/Differently-abled category in the entrance examination conducted.
B. Candidates who have cleared a national level examination like CSIR/UGC/NET-JRF etc. may appear for an interview without appearing in the entrance test.
