The admissions for B.Tech. in Food Technology and Management in National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management, Sonepat, Haryana will begin after the JEE Mains examination is conducted. After the results are released by the exam conducting authority, a seat will be allotted to the candidate on the basis of the marks scored in JEE Mains. For M.Tech courses at NIFTEM, the candidates have to secure a valid GATE score upon which the institute will release a merit list. For non-GATE students, an entrance examination will be conducted by the instituteand they must secure a valid qualifying score.
For Ph.D. courses at NIFTEM, the candidates will be allotted a seat on the basis of NET/GATE examination. All the candidates, including GATE/NET and non-GATE/NET will mandatorily have to appear for the RET (Research Entrance Test) conducted by NIFTEM. After the candidates clear the RET, they will have to appear for the personal interview round upon which the admission will be finalized.
For seeking admission in MBA program in NIFTEM, the candidates will be selected on the basis of the marks secured in the last two years of CAT/MAT examination. For non-CAT/MAT students, an internal test will be conducted by the institute.
