Honestly, like any other clat aspirant when I got into this university I had my initial doubts. The first day of uni according to me was horrendous, frankly, I even thought of dropping out. The weather, the people, everything and every minute in this uni seemed so dire. Gradually, I don't know how and when all these started growing on me and now I can full-heartedly say that not dropping out was the best decision I've made so far. TNNLS has grown out to be TNNLU, just as the term 'law school' has changed into 'law university' there is a substantial improvement in the infrastructure, wi-fi connectivity, faculty, and peer pressure. Now, with full beaming confidence, I can state that the students in this uni have won many moots, debates, presented many papers and have been placed in high reputed firms. Looking at the brownie points being in this university, you can be a part of a lot of conferences held in this uni in accordance with high reputed Harvard professors and professors from NLS Bangalore. As a concluding statement, I would add that, personally, I would always recommend this university and it is us students who define a university and the stance that it holds in the society. Being a low ranked NLU, it is indeed not to be underestimated.

A law school at its budding stage

First of all talking about the infrastructure, whatever is already there is good (i.e., the library and other amenities blocks) and whatever is gonna be built will also be good ( Indoor stadium for sports) . We already have a good industrial exposure by way of guest lectures and moreover by our Internships. The multifaceted activities carried on by the students committees keeps all the students engaged in one way or other be it a Moot Court,ADR, other competitions like quiz and many other legal competitions, Sports, Debates, Cultural fest , Celebration of a festival inside the campus and a lot more. I would like to state at this juncture that our institution is a University and not a College. In hostels we have the wireless lan facility which is the need of the hour especially for a law student and other usual hostel facilities. When you talk about the faculties the first thought which comes to our mind is that they are who'll guide the students with their valuable experience.

The Monotonous Life

GUNJAN CHANDAVAT

As we all know after the exciting few days of fresher, our life at college gets monotonous and hence I would like to justify my title. it is not to defame the college name or whatsoever but the only intention behind is to put forth my genuine thoughts. the college infrastructure is huge and nice but still it is at the very far away place and hence the student living in northern side of India finds it difficult when it comes to the transportation. apart from the infrastructure, the faculty is satiable and the subject pattern is also very good. we also have often visited by a guest lecture from eminent personalities. The hostel life is quite dull when it comes to food and activities. the placement cell has just been put up so even we don't have any ideas relating to whether it is good or not but looking very promising as such because the committee has been set up and the students are also very enthusiastic to volunteer. life becomes monotonous when it comes to spending your days away from your home and doing daily chores and studies in a disciplinary manner. the title itself is self-explanatory as it concerns with the daily schedule and not with college life as such. the diversity prevalent in the college is very nice as we come to know about different culture and different perspectives of people about politics, arts, law and much more. so the life is good in that way. the college life can be more happening when more and more people will organise and participate in various activities but that can be given benefit of doubt as the college is new and only 4th batch is the first batch but the overall development of the college is admirable in 4 years.

Life in a college

Infrastructure facilities are good and classrooms are quite big but the benches are not that comfortable . In-library, enough number of a book are available for reading and sufficient no. of computers are there in the lab for doing the research work but the main problem is the internet, sometimes it comes and sometimes not. the net facility is very irregular. but then also I enjoyed my college life because of my friend and classmates. my college is new so in a case of placement I don't know anything but I have more expectation that my college will do come forward and get more company to come here for the placement. I expect that the college hostels should be more cleaned and the food should be good and internet should come regularly or at least at that time when there is an urgent need of internet.

Under improvement

It's still under improvement .Many facilities such as air conditioner, Wifi, poor maintenance of football ground,no cricket ground ,poor medical care, etc.Teaching is good and little improvement will be fine.Library has all collections of books and all famous E-jounals in the world.Hostel accommodation is good but the food is of poor quality.A lot of corruptions are involved in the elections happening in the national law school. It's situated 15km from Trichy and to buy all necessary needs one has to travel 15km to Trichy which is one of the major drawbacks. It's a developing NLU so many important facilities are lacking.
