The campus is near Taramani railway station, thus the location is very exterior. With regard to the infrastructure, there are 6 buildings, one of which is Library, which I should definitely mention here as the library in our college is so resourceful. Apart from that the institution has all the facilities like canteen, net centre, Indian Bank, Indian post within the campus, also it provides hostel facilities for girls.
The academics is good as we always learn the updated syllabus. The teachers are well educated yet sometimes they are not regular to classes which makes it difficult to complete the syllabus within time.
The placement system is not effective provided by our college. We have a placement cell but we don't have a campus interview. So everyone cannot expect to get placed before going out of college. Yet this college has a reputation in Tamil Nadu which fetch you jobs quickly once you get out of college.
This is a Government University so the fees is low when compared to other private colleges. The course fees for 5 year integrated course is around 80 thousand approximate year. For LLM the course fees is around 38 thousand approximate per year. This changes from year to year. And there are concessions and scholarship for reserved categories and first generations.
The campus life is wonderful and useful. It is up to you how good you are making use of it. I personally believe that some teachers are very inspiring and encouraging. They personally support student regarding the studies and other activities like moot competitions, conferences, and other competitions. Even the college conducts many events like MUN, Moot associations etc.
With regard to my own experience I say that this is a nice college to study for 5 year integrated course. The college timings are from 9:30 am -1:30 am for the first 3 years and for the last 2 years the college timings are from 2-5 pm which makes the students to engage in activities like going for internships and court practices for the last two years.
