NLU Trichy  Ph.D Admission Process

• Candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria for taking TNNLU Ph.D admission. 

• Complete the application form and submit it along with the research proposal/synopsis of the research topic to the TNNLU registrar, following the prescribed format and payment of the required fees.

• Candidates must participate in the entrance test conducted by the university.

• To qualify, a candidate must secure 50% marks (for the general category) or 45% marks (for SC or ST) in the entrance test.

• Candidates who pass the entrance test are invited for an interview.

• During the interview, candidates are required to present their research proposal to the Doctoral Council.

• The university allocates 70% weightage to the entrance examination and 30% to the interview or viva voce when selecting candidates.

• The university announces the list of applicants and selected candidates for Ph.D. Law admission for each academic year.
