Tamil Nadu National Law University (TNNLU) Tiruchirappalli, was established in 2012 by the Government of Tamil Nadu. TNNLU courses are B.Com L.L.B Hons, B.A. L.L.B Hons, L.L.M Corporate and Securities Law, L.L.M Intellectual Property Law, L.L.M Natural Resources Law and Ph.D Law. TNNLU admission to B.A. L.L.B (Hons), B.Com L.L.B (Hons) and L.L.M is done based on the CLAT exam followed by counselling. For admission to Ph.D programme, the university conducts an entrance exam followed by an interview. NLU Trichy Placement Cell handles the entire campus recruitment process and helps the students get placed in top organisations.
TNNLU offers scholarships that cover full or partial course fees. The selection for NLU Trichy scholarships is based solely on the financial status of the candidates’ families. Students also have the option to apply for other scholarships such as the National Scholarship, Post Matric Scholarship, Post Matric Scholarships for Minority students, and Free Education Scholarship for Professional Courses.TNNLU provide various infrastructural facilities for students and faculty members. NLU Trichy facilities include separate hostels for both boys and girls, a library, an air-conditioned auditorium, seminar halls, medical centre, gymnasium, sports facilities, cafeteria, Wi-Fi, IT infrastructure, seminar hall, guest room, banking facilities and many more.
