72 MonthsPh.D. Business Sustainability shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
The Doctoral Program is intended to encourage meaningful research on issues that have a potential fallout on the sustainability of a business. The research focus inter alia includes business management problems; sustainable business strategies; financing and management of infrastructure, business modeling for emerging markets, sustainability financing, environmental, social and governance factors in business, business ethics; corporate social responsibility and the like.
Eligibility Criteria
(a) M.Sc/M.A/M.Phil in a relevant field or equivalent. (b) In extremely exceptional cases the admission committee may consider an application from a candidate who possess a B.Tech in a relevant field or equivalent. Only those who have a minimum CGPA of 8.0 on a 10 point scale or 75% marks should consider applying in this category. It may be noted that consideration under this category would be evaluated extremely strictly by an evaluation and admissions committee and admissions would only be in extremely exceptional cases, and would entail extended pre-Ph.D course work requirement.
