Hey, Entrance exam syllabus for MA economics for UoH are

The Entrance Examination for M.A. in Economics consists of only objective type questions. The test

is designed to examine/ evaluate the candidates’ general aptitude (including quantitative ability) and

understanding of economics at the bachelor’s level. The test is of TWO hours duration and consists of

100 multiple choice questions.

The broad syllabus for the entrance test of M.A. in Economics covers graduate level: Microeconomic

Theory, Macroeconomic Theory, International Economics, Public Finance, Basic Mathematics, Basic

Statistics, Economic Development, and Indian Economy.

Comparing both on career360, We found that Hydrabad university is better than EFLU Hyderabad. Fees for M.A english is lower in HU. Rating and ranking of Hyderabad is 29 all over in india.

Hyderabad University is in list of top central university of india.

But No. of intake in EFLU is higher that University of Hyderabad.

MAT score is accepted by 600 B-schools in the country. To know whether you’re eligible for Hyderabad University or Savitribai Phule University, you can use Careers360’s MAT Pathfinder Tool. The minimum eligibility criterion required for the candidates is to possess a Bachelor's degree in English or relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission to MA English is done on the basis of entrance tests. so you can do it either form distance mode or from a regular college also.

and yes you are eligible to do masters in engish if you fullfile the requirement.
