Academics
The University of Hyderabad is well-known for its academic environment. The professors here are experienced, supportive, and quite approachable.
The curriculum is regularly updated, keeping in mind the latest developments in various fields.
College Infra
The campus is beautiful and greenery, it feels like a peaceful retreat away from city noise. The university provides decent hostel facilities, well-maintained libraries, computer labs, seminar halls, and lecture rooms.
Placements
When it comes to placements, it largely depends on the department. Courses like Management, Computer Science, Economics, and Communication see better placement records, with companies like Deloitte, TCS etc.

MA Financial Economics - Batch of 2026-01-01
Academics
The course MA Financial Economics is good for the corporate aspirations. They teach you rigorous finance related subjects. The professors are well qualified. The curriculum is updated regularly. Research papers are taught alongside the reading material.
College Infra
The infrastructure is not good, it is equipped with all the facilities like sports complex, gym, amphitheater, yoga centre and many more, the conditions of the hostels are average. Few are good but some have very poor condition. Wifi is available all over the campus. Living space is not so good for some hostels.
Campus Life
Best features about the campus are its infrastructure and area, the campus is green and beautiful. There are many activities and sports events. Students are from all the states, we have diversity. Staff members are very humble and polite. Yes it is safe and can handle emergency.
Placements
Placements are not so good here, you can grab the internship from here but for the placements, there is very much competition due to the batch size. The percentage of students placed is 15%. Highest package went was 14 lpa. Average salary is 5 lpa. No idea about the process.
Value For Money
Per year it costed me 60 thousands. Yes i feel it is worth taking admission here. You get much exposure and support from the professors. The course is very much helpful for the government services examinations.

Academics
Doing PhD from this university has been a great experience. The faculty has helped a lot in the journey. The strictness is high but the openness to questions is also welcomed. The training is given according to recent developments.
College Infra
Alike other universities this university also has a huge campus with all the required facilities like labs and a huge library, sports and a well maintained hostel. The classroom are digitally developed.
Placements
The quality of placement has been good in the university in regards to phd. The scholars are placed in top universities and colleges. The package offered is also good aligning with the interest and skills.

I got 79 marks in cuet for msc atmospheric science and 86 for msc physics.Will i be able to get admission in university of hyderabad?

79 marks in M.Sc Atmospheric and 86 for M.Sc physics, seems to be low and chances for admission in University of Hyderabad appears lesser. The CUET PG cut off for general category is 190 and above and for OBC it is 180.
