Yes , after getting your name in the merit list of the entrance exam result, University of Hyderabad (HCU) will call you for an interview.

The interview is generally about why you have chosen HCU over other universities.Why you want to do masters in History etc.

They will only check your knowledge and interest in the subject.

They take interview for almost all Post Graduation Courses , Mass Communication , Journalism and PhD. courses.

Eligibility for MA history entrance

1. At least 50% marks in history in graduation and 50% marks aggregate in bachelor's degree.

2. OR At least 60% aggregate marks in your bachelor's degree.

3.OR Minimum 50% marks in graduation and at least 55% marks in subjects like political science, economics, sociology, public administration, Ancient Indian History and Culture,archaeology, Indology.(The 55% marks in these subjects counted in aggregate form).

University of Hyderabad offers five years integrated course in political science that is bachelor's degree of three years plus master's degree of two years with an exit option, that is if you pursue only bachelor's degree you will be awarded with Bachelor of Arts Degree only, now coming to your question the entrance test consists of following sections for 100 marks, each section is of 25 marks

• Part A is Social Studies and General Awareness
• Part B is Language and Comprehension
• Part C is Reasoning Ability
• Part D is Quantitative Aptitude

I guess it depends on the type of application form you're filling. I am not sure which form you are talking about but generally, ev ery institute matches the data that you have mentioned in the application form with the documents that you submit in the subsequent rounds of selection. If you have entered a certain marks percentage it will be verified with your mark sheet/transcript etc.,

Therefore it is mandatory to enter valid and correct details because they will be validated in the subsequent rounds and any mismatch can just lead to rejection of your candidature. (Even if you clear your entrance exams).

Now, these norms depend on the institute that you are applying for. The best-case scenario is to inform the authorities beforehand to notify them of the error and keep a copy of the resolution that they offer, Or file an affidavit stating the error, it helps mitigate the issue. In case the error is unintentional I am sure the authorities will help!

University of Hyderabad doesn't offer any undergraduate course in biotechnology but it offers MSc in Biotechnology.

The admission is given on the basis of CEEB entrance exam conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi.

UOH is one of the best University. So don't leave any option from it. Just try to attend it. It has got good academics and the PhD level standards. Try to attempt it don't lose it. One of the best way if you are interested in masters. If you have scored well it could be the best college for you.

University of Hyderabad does not offer BTech or any other Bachelor degrees. It only offers Masters and above. But you can find an Integrated course where you can Complete your Bachelor and Masters course( in Computer Science) within a duration of 5 years.

• Venkateshwar University

Now, There is not very good placements when it comes to history, political science etc.

My suggestion would be apply for NET JRF and prepare well for that.
