72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
- A candidate must have passed the M.A. in the subject concerned (with at least 55% marks) or Equivalent Grade.
- M.A. with at least 60% marks OR Equivalent Grade in any subject.
- The Medium of the Ph.D. Programme is English.
- All the students applying for the Programme are required to have adequate English language skills.

Admissions are made through the Entrance Exam and interview conducted by the university.
